Description
When I got to the Manistee North Pier Light this particular evening, Lake Michigan was fairly calm. After the sun set, the wind started picking up and quickly became a force to contend with, as sand from the beach was whipped up and spray from the waves started splashing across the lighthouse pier. I timed my shots to capture the flashing green LED in the tower, and I used a high ISO to freeze the motion in the waves.
